Movement is my life, and always has been.

I grew up playing sports, mainly soccer and tennis, but also softball, track and gymnastics.

I also danced from elementary through college.

As a personal trainer, fitness instructor, yoga teacher and athlete myself, I know how important flexibility is to keeping the body healthy.

It’s always shocking to me how many active people I meet tell me their bodies hurt so much, and that they “never stretch.”

Weight training and cardio exercise is key to keeping your body strong, creating lean muscle, fat loss, and maintaining a healthy heart and lungs.

But flexibility and balance should also be a priority in every fitness routine.
