Le Cose Belle ~ The Beautiful Things

Le cose belle is Italian for the beautiful things…

So many of the most wonderful things in life are often the most simple.

Like a day lounging in the sun and swimming in the sea…

Fresh, organic food vibrant with nutrients…

Traveling and exploring places you’ve never been… or ones you love to go back to over and over that feel like home.

Taking in a beautiful sunrise or sunset.

Joy comes from what lights us up inside.

There doesn’t even have to be a reason.

It’s just a feeling… something that makes our heart happy.

For me it’s Italy, yoga, and, of course, snuggling my dog Lola.

Just like yoga is more than a physical practice, Italy is so much more than just a lovely country to visit.

It is a lifestyle.

Italy embodies pure enjoyment of life.  

Dolce far niente...the sweetness of doing nothing.

Italians know how to slow down.  They eat long, luxurious meals together of the most simple, fresh, flavorful foods. They take Sundays off and the entire month of August!  They know how important community and family is.  Summers are about lingering in the sun, swimming in the turquoise sea, and sipping glasses of local wine and Aperol spritz.  They walk a lot and are naturally active as a part of their daily life.

The stunning beauty of the country itself is enough to offer a lifetime of pleasure.

Learning to live from this place of enJOYment is what it's all about!

When is the last time you thought about what truly inspires you?

Life goes by way too fast to not be present and fully enjoy every moment.

Find the beautiful things in life that light you up, and let those be your guide.
